You've heard the story. You may have lived it.

A project starts at six months and a number everyone can live with. Then a requirement surfaces that wasn’t in scope. Then the lead developer rolls off to another account. Then the timeline moves, and moves again.

Eighteen months later you’ve spent triple, the software does most of what you asked for, and nobody in operations wants to use it.

That outcome isn’t bad luck. It’s what happens when the vendor bills for hours instead of committing to a result. Hourly billing means every delay is revenue for them and cost for you. The incentives point in opposite directions from the day you sign.

We take the risk off your desk and put it on ours.

Before any development starts, we define the scope with you and hand back three commitments in writing.

A fixed price

Not an estimate, not a range, not a rate card. One number in the agreement. If the build takes longer than we planned, the number stays the same and we absorb it.

A fixed delivery date

Committed in the contract, so your operations team can plan training, rollout, and cutover against a real date instead of a moving target.

A one-year warranty

Every defect, covered for twelve months after launch. Most vendors’ obligations end at go-live. Ours start over.

A 450-person body shop can’t offer this, because they sell capacity by the hour and the risk has to sit with you for the model to work. We can offer it because we scope carefully, we’ve done it 100+ times, and the same engineers stay on your project from kickoff to warranty.

Public agencies don't get to gamble on a vendor.

When a police department picks a software firm, there’s no version of the story where the project quietly dies and everyone moves on. It has to work, and it has to keep working. That’s the standard we’ve been held to for over a decade.

Alongside that: insurance, engineering, manufacturing, nonprofits, and other software firms who bring us in when their own teams are at capacity.

This is usually the right call when…

→Your team still moves data between systems by hand, or works off paper and spreadsheets.

→Your ERP, CRM, and operational systems don’t talk to each other.

→Off-the-shelf software forces workarounds that cost more than the license.

→A legacy system still runs the business but can’t be extended any further.

→You need a defensible number and date to take to a board, a council, or a CFO.

It’s usually not the right call if you’re looking for the cheapest hourly rate, or you want a consumer app built on spec. We’re not the low bidder and we don’t pretend to be.

What happens after you reach out

No pitch deck. The first conversation is a working session.

1

We identify the business problem

The bottleneck, who it affects, and what it currently costs you. Technology comes after this, not before.

2

We define the solution

Users, functionality, security requirements, devices, and what “done” actually means.

3

We map the integrations

How it connects to the ERP, CRM, databases, and legacy systems you already run — without replacing what works.

4

You get a fixed-fee proposal

Scope, price, delivery date, and warranty terms. Yours to take to whoever signs, whether or not you hire us.

Request a fixed-fee estimate

Four fields. We reply within one business day, and if we’re not the right fit for what you need, we’ll say so.

Name(Required)

No obligation. We never sell your information.

Prefer to talk it through first?

Questions we get asked

Because we scope first. We work through the users, workflows, integrations, and requirements before quoting anything. That work is what makes the number reliable — and it’s why our proposal takes longer to produce than a rate card.

Real changes get priced as a change — openly, before we do the work. What you don’t get is a surprise invoice because the original estimate was optimistic. Our misjudgment is on us.

Our own engineers, in Pittsburgh. Nothing is subcontracted offshore. With 90% retention over the past decade, the people who start your project are generally the people who finish it.

Usually not. Most of our work extends what’s already there — connecting ERP, CRM, GIS, accounting systems, databases, and legacy software rather than ripping them out.

It depends entirely on scope, integrations, and security requirements — which is why we scope before quoting rather than publishing a range that wouldn’t apply to you. You’ll have a real number in writing before you commit to anything.

We solve business problems first. We build technology second.
